Privacy and safety

We never ask for your Social Security number. If you type one, we remove it before anything is saved or sent.

What we collect

• Never collected: your Social Security number, statement uploads, logins, your full address and bank details.
• Your answers: they stay in your own browser for this visit. We do not store them on our servers. When you close the tab, they are gone.
• If you buy a report: we then keep your answers, your email and your Stripe session id, locked with encryption, for 30 days so you can download again. Your PDF is kept for 7 days. Both are deleted for good after that. A delete link in your report page removes them at once. Stripe takes the payment and holds the payment record. We never see your card number.
• No cookies by default. Our visitor counts use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.
• No selling or sharing. We do not sell or share your information. We do not run ads on your answers.

If the AI helper is on

Your typed messages go to Cloudflare Workers AI to get a reply for that one turn. We do not log them and we do not keep them. Cloudflare says in its Workers AI documentation that it does not use customer inputs to train its models. Benefit numbers never come from the AI. They come from our calculator.

Find your statement safely

Only use the official site: my Social Security account (your statement) (opens in a new tab). Look for .gov in the address bar. You can read us a couple of numbers. You do not need to send us the file.

Scam warning

Social Security will never call you to demand money, ask for gift cards or threaten to arrest you. If a call or text sounds like that, hang up. Call 1-800-772-1213 or visit Protect yourself from Social Security scams (opens in a new tab).
